Marine Safety Day at YouBoat chandlery in Swanwick
There is a Marine Safety Day this Saturday between 10am and 2pm at YouBoat chandlery in Swanwick with support from local RNLI volunteers.
Central Solent RNLI volunteers will be on hand to discuss ‘Calling for Help’ technologies and MOB recovery, as well as provide general water safety advice and demonstrate how to check your lifejackets.
The team from YouBoat chandlery will be hosting a ‘flare amnesty’ where Premier Marinas berth holders can safely surrender expired flares and take advantage of some great deals on new flare packs.
YouBoat specialists can health-check your EPIRB, PLB and MOB AIS devices and also check lifejackets. They are offering a free rearming kit with any new life jacket bought on the day (worth up to £35.95).
