This year Spread Eagle’s Crossley Cup Regatta, one of the City Sailing Series regattas, arranged by the Portcullis Sailing Club, will again be run jointly with the Finn Trophy, which is hosted by the Stock Exchange and Baltic Exchange Sailing Clubs. Boats representing banks and City Institutions sailing clubs, with other entries, will race on Saturday and Sunday. After a day’s competitive, but friendly, racing in the Solent, a formal dinner will be held at either the Royal Yacht Squadron or the Royal Ocean Racing Club [formerly Royal Corinthian YC], two of the most prestigious Cowes based sailing clubs.

Events will start on the Friday evening usually at 5pm, although the host skipper will be in touch with all crew a week or two prior to the event with detailed joining instructions. The cost of this event is just £185 per person, this includes the cost of fuel.

Additional Information

In addition to this event, there could be other ‘short notice’ Club Events offered during the year which will be advised to members as and when they are arranged. If you would like a bespoke event organised for you or a group, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate this, including providing a skipper.
