Early Summer Cruise  23rd May – 31st May

Embark on an unforgettable 9 day sailing adventure through the picturesque waters of the West Country, guided by the seasoned expertise of skipper Ed Sumner. Your journey begins with a departure from Universal Marina, and upon completion, you’ll conveniently return home via public transport, as the boat remains moored in the West Country for charter ahead of the next Mid Summer cruise later in June.

This cruise offers both breathtaking scenery and hands-on sailing experience, perfect for enthusiasts of all skill levels. With Ed’s expertise in Geology you are sure to learn a lot more than sailing skills as you sail along the rugged coastline, discovering hidden coves, tranquil estuaries, and quaint seaside villages.

This week-long sailing cruise promises not just skill enhancement but also a profound connection with the maritime charm of the West Country.

Events will start on the Friday evening usually at 5pm, although the host skipper will be in touch with all crew a week or two prior to the event with detailed joining instructions. The cost of this event is £570 per person + fuel.

Additional Information

In addition to this events, there could be other ‘short notice’ Club Events offered during the year which will be advised to members as and when they are arranged. If you would like a bespoke event organised for you or a group, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate this, including providing a skipper.

We are very keen to encourage new Skippers and existing Skippers to upgrade their tickets, so please do let us know if this is of interest to you. We can then organise preparation or testing events during the year.
