We expect all Club Skippers to attend a refresher weekend with a club host skipper at the beginning of the season. The cost will be £40 per person per day + fuel. The club would strongly recommend attendance on one of these events if you are planning to charter this year and, in particular, if you have not chartered Eagle in the last 2 years.

Focusing on our skippers refreshing their general boat handling skills, this will be a day or weekend of berthing, sail hoisting, reefing and reminding! The emphasis is on seamanship, practical navigation, close quarters manoeuvres under engine and a chance to regain your confidence, blow off the dust and rust!
