It’s almost that time of the year that Eagle is lifted out of the water for 10 Days.
During this time, the boat will jet washed by the Universal Marina and stored on land, this is a great opportunity to view her out of the water and check out her unusual, shaped hull.
Eagle will be lifted on Friday 7th October
Relaunched on Monday 17th October.
This is a shorter time than usual due to busy boat bookings.
As a club, we try to complete as many jobs as we can ourselves to keep costs to a minimum. During the 10 days Eagle is out of the water we need to apply a fresh coat of antifoul; polish the boat; carry out safety checks; give the boat a good clean inside and many more jobs. I need volunteers to help with these activities. The working parties will be on the following dates:
- Saturday 8th October
- Sunday 9th October
- Saturday 15th October
- Sunday 16th October
If you are available on any of these dates and are able to assist, please let me know.
