We are pleased to announce that Eagle is available for charter to members of the same household from the reduce rate of £50 per day.

Engine checks and service have been completed and she has been re-fueled and taken out for a test sail. So should you want to take her out for a day sail or just sit onboard with a picnic and enjoy the river with your family please contact David Smithson:

Please keep a close eye on the website for updates to this post as we approach further lifting of restrictions.

SESC Policy Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Member Safety

In response to the coronavirus threat and to follow government guidelines to minimise the risk of spreading the virus we have taken additional measures to make sure our members are safe.

  • Only members of the same household will be able to go onboard Eagle during each charter.
  • In line with club rules, there must be one qualified skipper and at least one other competent crew on board if you take her off the berth.
  • Please take anti-bacterial spray surface cleaner with you and ensure surfaces have been cleaned after your charter.
  • Although we will carry out any required maintenance checks as soon as possible, we will leave 72 hours between her return and the next charter, to minimise risk to members.
  • Do not go onboard Eagle if you or your crew have any COVID-19 symptoms or you are sharing a house with someone who is self-isolating or have come in contact with anyone confirmed or suspected to be positive for COVID-19.
