The sun is out and at last we can plan to get back out on the water and refresh our skills!

The boat has been maintained throughout the winter and new deep padded cushions have been ordered ready for your comfort this season.

12th April – Static Cottage / Single Household Sailing Bookings
Following the RYA COVID-19 roadmap for the return to boating – a single household can stay overnight onboard. We have static cottage bookings and single household sailing bookings available from 12th April at £75 / £100 per day. Please view the online calendar and contact David Smithson to book. Restaurants can serve up to six people per table outdoors. Cowes Marina is accepting visitors. Please check individual marina’s before you depart.

17th May – Club Events 
Here is the really exciting news! A maximum of six people can go sailing, mix below decks and stay overnight onboard. Restaurants can serve up to six people indoors so Club Events have started to form.

Our non formal constructive activities are run by an experienced club skipper at a cost of £170 per person. (£250 for the Five-Day Cruise and £450 for the Nine-Day Cruise) including the cost of fuel.

Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd May
Skipper’s Refresher Weekend – Focus on refreshing our club skippers skills. After a year or more off the boat, come along and refresh your general boat handling skills on this weekend of berthing, sail hoisting, reefing and reminding!

Monday 24th May / 25th May / 26th May / 27th May
Individual Refresher Days – Throughout this week we are offering Members a single 9am-5pm day refresher with a club skipper at a cost of £50 per person per day.

Friday 18th – Sunday 20th June
Just Go Sailing – With no pre-set agenda this weekend and could be intensive exercises or a leisurely Solent cruise.

Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd August
Just Go Sailing – Another of these popular weekends. It might just be a sail to one of the delightful destinations such as Lymington, Yarmouth or Cowes, or if everyone prefers, it could be a chance to practice coming alongside pontoons.

Extended Summer CruisePlease register your interest for our extended Summer Cruise – that will take place during either July or September. If you haven’t been out of the Solent for a while, why not join this five-day or more cruise which may take you across the Channel or you could head west towards Weymouth or Dartmouth.

Friday 17th – Sunday 19th September
Crossley Cup – Have a go at racing the boat under Skipper Phil Boden’s guidance, followed by a grand dinner held at the Royal Yacht Squadron, one of the most prestigious Cowes based sailing headquarters.
